FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How does TapCard work?

TapCards offer two ways to wirelessly share your digital details with others—via an embedded NFC chip inside the card and a QR code on the back. Users with NFC-enabled devices can simply tap your card to access your information, while those without NFC can use their device’s camera to scan the QR code for the same details.

You can choose what the NFC chip and QR code do upon interaction! Your card can either:

  • Direct users to a dynamic link (a URL that can be updated in the future), or

  • Guide them to a landing page where they can download your digital contact card (.vcf file that can be updated in the future)

2. How long will it take to get my card?

Once your order is placed and you’ve submitted your design details (if custom options are selected), your card will be printed within 2 business days and mailed out via USPS First Class. For more details, check out our Shipping Page.

3. Can I add my logo to a design??

Absolutely! If you choose a design that allows adding your own logo, just be sure to upload it on the ordering page while choosing your details/options. The logo should be 500x500, it should be a .PNG type file with transparent or white background. Failure to meet that criteria may result in processing delays and us reaching out to request more info.

5. Can you explain the different options/features?

Certainly! We’ve created an article that explains the different card design categories and link options in detail. You can read it here.

6. What’s the difference between dynamic and static links?

We no longer offer static links as an option. All our cards now come with dynamic links, meaning you can update or change the link destination or contact information in the future. For a more in-depth explanation, check out our article on the subject.
